Client Description: The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ) was established in 1972 as an association primarily composed of Italian and Japanese companies and individuals having business relations with Italy. The Chamber was officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Trade in 1986.
PROJECT Implementation
Facilitate and improve ACCJ information dissemination by:
- Create a new website design targeting Italian, Japanese and English speaking business community. We have created the new ICCJ website by submitting several design samples and making changes after client’s feedback.
- Enhancing Italian, Japanese and English language capability. The navigation of the site toggles from Italian to Japanese and Japanese, mirror-like, and client through an administration site is able to enter the text for all three languages into the mirror navigation and set the destination of each navigation link.
- Improving content management tools (i.e. user friendly architecture). For each section Italian, Japanese and English content can be added through the editor component. The editor has many options where the content can be added for chosen link/page along with uploading the files if any as well as image for specific content. The Formatting has many options which help the administrator to easily manage content without having background of coding.
- Enhancing the News and Events sections. Admin can add/edit/manage news and events: 1) front page, and 2) archive by month and year. The solution allows: 1) more than one headline and subhead to appear at the same time on the front page. On the events page there is an interactive calendar that shows all the upcoming events. Events can be automatically redirect to an archive by month and year. News and Events have a title, summary that will be shown in the general pages and a main text that will be shown in the main specific news page.
- Members create/edit/manage Commercial Offers and administrators approves/disapproves them. After login into their account ICCJ’s members can create/edit/manage Commercial Offers. Only after the administrator approves changes the information added by members will show on the live site. User are able to view the commercial offers through an easy to search section.
- Members create/edit/manage Post Jobs and administrator approves/disapproves them. After login into their account ICCJ’s members can create/edit/manage Jobs. Only after administrator approves changes the information added by members will show on the live site.
- Top banner and top navigation bar using flash for Italian, Japanese and English versions. We have created the top banner with turning images and headlines for Italian, Japanese and English versions. Also the top navigation bar is created in flash for all three languages versions |
